Ashley Furniture says 'handful of associates' in Advance report that they contracted COVID-19

Ashley Furniture in Advance has confirmed that some of its employees have the coronavirus.

In an email sent to WXII 12 News, the company said that 'a handful of associates have reported that they have contracted COVID-19.'

"Since the pandemic spread to the U.S., we have been steadfast with following the guidance and information provided by the CDC, and our state and local governments to ensure we are taking the necessary precautions for the well-being of our employees,

the statement said.

The company said it has no reported cases where transmission is believed to have occurred while working at our facility.
